The course includes theory and extensive practical work. The syllabus is comprehensive, and makes effective use of the training system evolved by experts in the field. The theory subjects relate to different stages of Human growth & development, concentrating on the early childhood years.

Practical work includes supervised teaching at the preschool level, group projects, seminar presentation, field work, micro teaching units observation of school & institution, and a host of related activities. We offer teacher-training courses in B.Sc. B.ED.

DURATION

The academic program is 4 years long. Each academic year is divided into two semesters. Thus, the entire program consists of eight such semesters.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Minimum qualification required is – 10+2 pass (Arts, Commerce or Science) from a recognized board. Minimum marks requirement may vary from one institute to another. Generally, it is around 45-55% aggregate marks.
